You-re likely familiar with the Netflix story, and chances are you have an account with a pile of movies in your queue.
But did you know there-s a similar business out there, designed for children’s books? It-s called Book Pig. Based in San Francisco, the company was started by two families that shared a passion for reading. I sat down with one of the co-founders, Charlotte Pigoski, and asked her how they turned a great business concept into a reality.
Customers are raving about Book Pig. They pride themselves on helping children, and their mission statement says it all: Get kids excited about reading by helping parents surround kids with books they love.Troy Marcyes works in customer relations at Intuit and is inspired by the small business owners he talks to every day.
