On the Street in Half Moon Bay

Recently I had the opportunity to walk the streets of Half Moon Bay before small businesses start to ramp up for the upcoming Art and Pumpkin Festival on October 16 and 17, 2010.

I was particularly interested in hearing from people that either live, work or frequently visit the Half Moon Bay area. Here-s what they had to say about the upcoming festival.

If you haven-t attended the Art and Pumpkin Festival, put it on your bucket list. It is an amazing time and the numerous events throughout the weekend are thoroughly entertaining. Where else can you find pumpkins weighing over 1,000 pounds?

The main piece of advice I got from the locals: Arrive early.

So pack up the car, set record on the weekend-s football games, and prepare yourself for one of the best festivals in the Bay Area.
